  I like coming here to do homework, because it doesn't typically get super crowded.
  
  However, the wifi is very hit-and-miss. I usually end up having to use my Hotspot.
  
  Also, I feel like their Cold Brew is watered down? I've experienced it tasting watered down on multiple occasions.

  Clean and roomy store, but the WIFI here is terrible. Like dial up in 1994. Visiting even the plainest website is a joke. Using the Starbuck's own app on the network? Not gonna happen at 400kbps.
  
  I'm guessing a franchisee that just doesn't care, or get that with Starbucks decent WIFI is supposed to be a thing.
  
  Otherwise it would be a perfectly fine location.

  I went in.  Looks to be coo, although there seem to be no spaces to lounge and sip.  More of a grab your cup and go type place.  
  
  Four eager employees waiting to make something.  
  
  It is adjacent to a Chevron just off the freeway so that may attract others.  No sign up high though so it's still a relatively unknown location.  
  
  Is okay if you want to grab and go, but very few comfy couch-like seats here.  Oh, also has a drive-thru built in, as this was a Del Taco in a previous life.

  I came here after school this afternoon because I like studying at cafes and this Starbucks store looked to be bigger than the others in Davis. Arriving there, there are many parks outside and many seats inside. This Starbucks is not well known yet so it is currently a perfect place to study if you download everything you need ahead of time. The wifi was good for downloading word documents but not for any other document type (powerpoint). The seats are uncomfortable, but they aren't painful.
  
  When I came in I stood at the counter. Two of the three baristas were doing something. But the third was doing nothing and just looked me. Once one of the other baristas were finished she came over to help me. She was very nice and took my order promptly.
  
  I ordered a caramel brûlée latte and a chocolate chip cookie. The latte was nice and hot, but the coffee (or maybe it was the milk used) to make it tasted burnt. The chocolate chip cookie was also pretty good, and it continues to be one of my more favorite items at Starbucks.

  THE WIFI HERE IS SLOW. It's slow enough that you can't really get any work done and might as well be offline. This is a good place to get drinks because they are good, but don't expect to be doing any work online.
